Encorp is an Industry Product Stewardship Corporation with a mandate to develop and manage a consumer friendly and cost effective system to recover consumer products and packaging for recycling. In addition to BC's Return-It™ beverage container deposit system, Encorp also provides stewardship services on a contract basis to BC Dairy Council and Electronics Stewardship Association of BC. All logistics are outsourced to contractors; collection, sorting and packaging containers, transportation and processing. This outsourcing policy creates many business and career opportunities.
