Return-It @ Work Office Program

A new recycling program for businesses and their employees.

British Columbians do a fine job of recycling beverage containers in their homes, but it's often difficult for them to recycle the containers they use at work. And when a container is thrown into the trash it may end up in our BC landfills. That's a waste of precious resources because those containers could be recycled.

Last year, Encorp Pacific (Canada) helped British Columbians recycle a billion containers. Although that's an impressive number, our recovery rates could be better. We are finding that, especially in urban areas, there are not enough recycling facilities in offices and work places.

This new program provides offices with beverage container recycling bins and a pick-up service free of charge, allowing everyone in your office to ensure empty beverage containers are recycled responsibly. It can also provide a way to donate to a reputable charity, The United Way of the Lower Mainland, if you so choose.

Two choices - Keep the Refunds or Give to United Way

As part of the sign-up process, you'll be given two options for your deposit refunds. You may choose to receive the deposit refunds, which will be issued in the form of a cheque to your organization; or donate the deposit refund directly to the United Way of the Lower Mainland in return for a charitable receipt.
