Check out our cool new video of Return-It Man @ School

Return-It Man and his good friend Simon spent part of this spring visiting select Elementary schools in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island participating in Encorp School Recycling Program to educate the students on recycling their empty beverage containers and End of Life Electronics.

This new feature to the Elementary School Recycling program allowed us to have Return-It Man visit participating schools and deliver his message on recycling in a fun and exciting way.

In addition, we also provided the students with fun pre visit and post visit activities. The pre and post activities consisted: of a copy of "The Container Adventures: The Rescue", challenging word search & crossword puzzles, a fun math exercise and a take home recycling checklist.

In total Return-It Man was able to visit 38 Schools in 15 communities.

Only schools who were participating in the Encorp Pacific’s BC School Recycling Program within the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island were eligible to share in this new educational resource. To be eligible to receive one of the limited appearances in next year's Return-It Man @ School program, schools will need to register in the Encorp Pacific BC School Recycling Program and actively participate by reporting container totals on a regular basis.

Be sure to check back in the Encorp Youth Centre in late summer for details on how you can get Return-It Man to your school!
